Malik Ishtar is the main antagonist of the second season of Yugioh "battle city".

A charming and conventionally attractive 16 year old young man, Malik intends to liberate his people from having to live as slaves for 3000 years in the name of Pharaoh Atem without letting anyone or anything get in his way. The traumas and tortures he had to endure as a former tombkeeper strongly affect his relationship with himself and the world in a not very good way, esp when it comes to trust.

Malik is the Leader of the Ghouls, a card game mafia (yea lol) which steals and creates counterfeits of rare cards. They steal them by force by physically hurting the owner. The thing is that they don't do this intentionally. Actually, Malik, as the evil mastermind he is, brainwashes and manipulates people into doing his bidding.

Despite his unethical actions, he still has some good in his heart. He cares deeply for his family and would do anything for them. He especially loves his older siblings, Isis and Rishid, and he shares a very strong bond with them even tho their bond became strained during Malik's time as the Leader of the Ghouls.
